Los Angeles Client Charged with Possession of Child Pornography--Charges Reduced

CHILD PORNOGRAPHY: Our Los Angeles County client was arrested by the Whittier Police Department on One Count violation of Penal Code Section 311.11(a) –(Felony Possession of Child or Youth Pornography) and Five Counts violation of Penal Code Section 647(j)(3) – (Unauthorized Invasion of Privacy) and was facing prison since this was one of the largest seizures of child pornography in Whittier history. After aggressive negotiations with the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office and the presentation of a strong mitigation case, client plead no contest to One Count of Penal Code Section 311.11(c) – (Possession of Child Pornography with over 600 images) and One Count of Penal Code Section 647(j)(3) – (misdemeanor Unauthorized Invasion of Privacy) and all other Counts were dismissed. Client was sentenced to only felony probation and county jail time.
