July 2016
In San Francisco County, client was observed by CHP speeding across the Oakland / San Francisco Bay Bridge at 100 mph and was later stopped by the San Francisco Police Department after colliding into the wall of the off-ramp. Client's blood alcohol level was almost two times the legal limit. After lengthy and aggressive negotiations with the San Francisco District Attorney's Office and consultations with client's immigration attorney, client was able to plead to only a 1st Offense DUI despite the fact that he had a prior DUI conviction in 2008 as well as a prior felony conviction for possession of narcotics.
