In Oakland, client was arrested for a violation of Penal Code Section 647(b) – solicitation for prostitution. After aggressive negotiations with the Alameda County District Attorney's Office, client was able to get charges reduced to an infraction for a violation of Penal Code Section 415 – disturbing the peace. Client only had to pay a fine and the conviction can be expunged after one year.

It’s the perverse symbol elected officials use to strengthen their ‘tough on crime’ reputations and distract us from confronting the causes of violence. It is finally the enemy of grace, redemption and all of us who recognize that each person is more than their worse act.”
